Amy began drawing as a young girl, often painting on the backs of her grandmother's doors in nail polish. She lives in upstate New York and is recently engaged to her long-time friend since high school. Amy has had some college instruction in graphic design and was on the Dean's List for the Connecticut University of Fine Arts. However art is mainly a catharsis for her and fantasy art is her favorite. She works in a variety of mediums including acrylics, rarely oils, pastels, pen and ink, and most frequently coloured pencils, with ink and watercolour combined. She is also an adept photographer. A bit on the quirky side, her favorite saying is "Maintain your positive mental octopus at any cost..."
The image to the right is a Shade, one of the many dangers encroaching upon the city.
